|Free Economic Zone (FEZ)|
ŠIAULIAI FREE ECONOMIC ZONE
- It is a 133 ha territory for the special purposes. Free economic zone is near the most important our country transport corridors: highway – Panevėžys – Šiauliai and Šiauliai International Airport. The special zone is only 6 km from the Šiauliai City center, so it is very easy to reach it with city public transport. It is very important for the employees, because they can reach their workplaces easily.
Territory and infrastructure: Free economic zone territory is divided into various plots – from 1 ha to 25 ha. These plots can be redistributed according to the needs of the investor. There is well – developed infrastructure in FEZ for business convenience: water supply, storm drainage system, gas pipeline, telephone and cable, electrical services, sanitary sever line.
Status: Free economic zone – territory for the development of industry, business and logistics. There are exceptional preferential economic and legislative conditions for the investors in FEZ according to the Lithuanian legislatives.
- No corporate tax during the first 10 years and only 50% of corporate tax over the next 6 years while investing no less than 1 million Euros in fixed assets.
- No real estate tax.
- Dividends are not taxed in cases established by the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Corporate Income Tax.
